The project is set in the rural outskirts of Solapur City in a village near Kaati Gaon. The client owns ancestral farmland where he presently practices natural farming without use of chemical or organic fertilizers. He wanted to set up an agricultural training center to train neighboring farmers of local villages in natural farming practices and conduct workshops about sustainable agricultural practices.  He also wanted to setup a residence with the training center that could function also as a house in entirety. The project brief was complex as it involved combining public activities along with private spaces within a single structure. Thus multifunctional public spaces are planned on the ground floor that include kitchen, training hall and amphitheater (that also suffice as camping areas) along with semi open dining space that can also be used for various kitchen and agro-product related activities.
